A2A memorial Mass for the fallen

At the Church of St. Erasmo in Cancano (Solena area), the customary Holy Mass is celebrated in commemoration of the workers who lost their lives during the construction of the Val Fraele dams and hydroelectric plants in the 1930s, and of those who defended them during the Second World War.

The ceremony is an important event for the whole Alta Valtellina and for the people who shared the history of these major hydroelectric facilities.

Senior executives of A2A - together with employees and retirees - and representatives of local institutions and communities will be present.
