The appointment with super creative workshops for little ones is back!

⚡ Fraele Power Plant: a special visit between energy, history and fun 

One of the most important testimonies of Valtellina’s industrial past, the Fraele Power Plant, opens its doors to younger visitors too, with an experience designed especially for children aged 8 to 12. 

Activity reserved for children aged 8 to 12: participants outside the indicated age range cannot be accommodated. 

The initiative includes a guided tour of the Power Plant, a unique opportunity to discover this extraordinary engineering work up close and be fascinated by its history and how it works. At the end of the visit, participants will move to the Polifunzionale di Rasin to take part in the creative workshop “From Water to Energy”: through hands-on and engaging activities, children will be able to learn about all the secrets of water and energy linked to the Fraele Power Plant in a simple and fun way. They will be accompanied on this journey by Thomas Sosio. 

💧 A journey through the history of energy 

The visits to the Power Plant, part of the international project “Water Routes Po Valley ERIH,” offer a chance to rediscover places where energy used to be produced, providing a fascinating immersion into the history and grandeur of this important structure. An experience that combines learning and discovery, enhancing the area’s industrial heritage. The visits are made possible thanks to the valuable collaboration with Fondazione AEM – Gruppo A2A.

Two appointments are scheduled: 

• 16 July – 3:00 PM 
• 6 August – 3:00 PM 

💰 Prices and bookings 

• € 7.00 per child 
• € 5.00 for residents of Valdidentro 

👉 Booking required via the website or at the Valdidentro Tourist Office.

👉 Limited places. Participation without registration will not be possible. 

📍 Directions 

To reach the Fraele Power Plant by car, it is recommended to park at the Polifunzionale Rasin. From there, continue on foot along the back of the building towards via Lungo Viola: once you reach the street, you will find the entrance to the Power Plant directly in front of you.
