🎶 A timeless masterpiece

"The Magic Flute" is one of the most beloved and frequently performed works in the Mozart repertoire. A musical fairy tale that speaks to different audiences, intertwining adventure, comedy, mystery and deep symbolic meanings.

At the heart of the story is Prince Tamino, tasked by the Queen of the Night with rescuing her daughter Pamina, who is being held prisoner by the magician Sarastro, initially portrayed as a tyrant.

Accompanying Tamino on his journey is Papageno, a funny bird-catcher with a simple and spontaneous nature, whose humanity contrasts with the prince’s courage and nobility.

🪈 The journey of Tamino and Papageno

Throughout the adventure, Tamino receives a magic flute, while Papageno has a carillon: two special instruments that will help them face the challenges along the way.

But the journey will soon reveal a truth different from the one told by the Queen of the Night: the forces of evil are not on Sarastro’s side, but on the Queen’s side, driven by hatred and a desire for revenge.

Through trials, discoveries and symbolic passages, Tamino and Pamina will be led toward love and light, under the wise and benevolent guidance of Sarastro.

🎭 Music, theatre and painting

The event will feature Lorenzo Degl’Innocenti, actor, the Duo Parrino and painter Cesare Adoni.

An encounter between different languages of expression, designed to highlight the narrative power of Mozart’s work and turn it into an engaging experience that brings together listening, words and imagery.

🏔️ An evocative setting

The event will be hosted by the Fraele Hydroelectric Power Plant, a place of special charm where architecture, energy and landscape meet.

An opportunity to experience culture in an unusual and evocative space, letting yourself be carried away by the timeless magic of Mozart’s music, thanks to the valuable collaboration with Fondazione AEM - Gruppo A2A.
