Ambria Jazz: Passages

Jazz performance “Pieces of a Woman”, the new project by Cristina Russo & Neosoul Combo.

A project dedicated to women, to their vulnerabilities but also to their ability to respond to life’s difficulties, in which the alternative sounds and influences from different styles that characterize the Sicilian artist blend with the energy of the Neosoul Combo, the band that has accompanied Cristina in her live performances for years now. A new jazz-style project where musical hints from the 1980s emerge both in the rhythms and in the melodies, and which has benefited from the artistic direction and musical arrangements of Marco Di Dio. Cristina’s raspy, warm voice, with its pure black soul atmospheres, expresses itself on this
occasion in a more modern sound, while retaining its elegance and charm. Joining her on stage: Angelo Di Marco (keyboard), Marco Di Dio (drums), Tommaso Noce (bass and backing vocals).

Event organized in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Bormio (in case of rain, the concert will be held at Auditorium Bormio Terme).
