Radici Future
BPER and Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, through their support for Radici Future, reaffirm their commitment to the territories and local communities, recognizing the inland and mountain areas as a heritage of relationships, skills and identity to be enhanced.
The project was created with the aim of promoting sustainable development pathways capable of bringing culture, economy and social cohesion into dialogue, with the goal of (re)generating opportunities and new prospects.
Three distinct phases are planned:
- a research and investigation effort led by a prestigious interdisciplinary scientific committee made up of: Gabriele Pasqui, Andrea Membretti, Gabriela Jacomella and Silvia Di Passio
- working tables during which - thanks to the involvement and discussion among institutions, academics, representatives of the third sector and the heads of BPER branches in the cities involved - the aim is to contribute to the development of local growth pathways in three different areas: Culture in Chiavenna, Economy in Morbegno, Tourism in Bormio
- production of a final project volume collecting the main findings of the research with the aim of making the knowledge produced transferable.
At the end of each day of work and discussion, a public programme of three evening events open to all citizens will be proposed:
- Chiavenna: 20 May at 6.30 pm - Teatro della Società Democratica Operaia Culture that creates. How can the identity of places be relaunched?
- Morbegno: 4 June at 6.30 pm - Auditorium Ex Convento di S. Antonio Territories that (do not) count. How can local economies be reactivated?
- Bormio: 17 June at 6.30 pm - Bormio Terme/ Congress Centre The tourism of tomorrow. What possible alternatives?
